French Health Authorities Extend Reimbursement for eCLIPs® Following Review of EESIS-France Clinical Results

Decision Represents Important Step Toward Full Reimbursement for the Treatment of Wide-Neck Bifurcation Aneurysms in France

Vancouver, Canada – June 18,2026 – Evasc Neurovascular, a leading innovator in the treatment of wide-neck bifurcation aneurysms (WNBAs), today announced that French health authorities have approved the continued reimbursement of the eCLIPs® system for the patient population studied in the EESIS-France trial following a review of the study's clinical results.

The EESIS-France study has completed patient enrollment and represents one of the most comprehensive prospective evaluations of a dedicated bifurcation aneurysm treatment technology. Following closure of enrollment, participating centers across France continued to express strong interest in maintaining access to the eCLIPs system for eligible patients. The decision by French health authorities to continue reimbursement for the studied patient population is viewed as an important interim step toward achieving full national reimbursement for the treatment of wide-neck bifurcation aneurysms with the eCLIPs device.

The EESIS-France study was conducted across leading neurovascular centers in France and includes independent core laboratory adjudication of angiographic outcomes, providing a robust and objective assessment of clinical performance.

"We are very grateful for this important decision by the French health authorities," said Dr. Raphael Blanc, Principal Investigator of the EESIS-France study. "The continuation of reimbursement for patients meeting the EESIS-France criteria reflects the clinical value demonstrated by the study and represents an important step toward full reimbursement of eCLIPs for the treatment of wide-neck bifurcation aneurysms in France. Importantly, this decision also acknowledges the strong demand from French neurointerventional physicians who have continued to request access to the technology following completion of patient enrollment in the EESIS-France study."

Evasc has previously published multiple clinical studies demonstrating the safety, efficacy, and durability of the eCLIPs platform. The addition of the independently adjudicated EESIS-France data set further strengthens the growing body of evidence supporting the use of dedicated bifurcation aneurysm treatment technologies. Combined with previously published registry data, EESIS-France is expected to represent one of the most comprehensive clinical evidence packages available for the treatment of wide-neck bifurcation aneurysms.

The company continues to see increasing adoption of the eCLIPs platform among neurointerventional physicians across Europe and internationally. As clinical experience expands and evidence continues to accumulate, eCLIPs is increasingly being recognized as a valuable treatment option for complex bifurcation aneurysms.

"This decision by the French health authorities recognizes both the unmet clinical need and the strength of the evidence generated through the EESIS-France study," said Wieger Kaptein, Vice President of Evasc Neurovascular. "The continuation of reimbursement following completion of enrollment reflects the confidence that French physicians have in the eCLIPs technology and the importance of maintaining patient access while the process toward full reimbursement continues. We look forward to working closely with French stakeholders to bring this innovative treatment option to more patients across France."
